This unit was operational at all times, which meant our work had to be carried out by a professional team working around and in tune with the day to day running of the maternity ward. Our co-operative, friendly approach enabled us to complete the project with minimum disruption to staff and patients alike. The finishes were all basic materials, with antibacterial paints in some of the more sensitive areas. Planning and adhering to the programme were important to the success of the contract.

Timescale: 7 weeks
A well used public building with work essential over three floors. This project required a variety of durable finishes to all its surfaces. Screeded floors were treated with Bradites DP5 Clearcote whilst sandblasted brickwork, a feature of the building was sprayed with Dulux Clearcoat, thereby enhancing its natural appeal. The rest of the finishes were acrylic eggshell, chosen for its washable qualities. The joinery, an area where a particularly hard surface was required was painted in oil based eggshell.
